SHOWBOATS TRIVIA

--
The Memphis Showboats of 1985 reversed the regular season record of their 1984 club, improving from 7-11-0 to 11-7-0.
--
The Showboats record earned them the #3 seed in the USFL's Eastern Conference.
--
Thanks to their attendance, once the Showboats made the playoffs Commissioner Harry Usher declared that, no matter where they finished in the standings, the Showboats would host a playoff game.
--
The result was that the 'Boats took on the Western Conference's #2 seed, the Denver Gold, at the Liberty Bowl instead of at Mile High Stadium.
