1984, the Maulers experienced the shortest life
span of any active USFL franchise, exactly 550
days. |

team's folding came exactly one week after the
USFL's owners elected to move their season to a
fall schedule beginning in 1986. |

addition to his role as President of the
Maulers, Paul Martha was active in the day to
day management of DeBartolo's other team, the
NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins. |

WBVP-AM in Beaver Falls, PA, WHJB-AM in
Greensburg, WDAD-AM in Indiana, PA, WWZE-FM in
Johnstown, PA, WMMN-AM in Fairmont, WV, and WWBW-AM
in Youngstown, Ohio. |
