MAULERS TRIVIA

--
Two of the Maulers' three USFL victories came at the expense of the Washington Federals.
--
Early in 1984 the Maulers were seen as a competitive football team, nearly beating the defending USFL champion Michigan Panthers in Week 2.
--
At 2-4-0 after six weeks, fans of the team weren't expecting a playoff berth in the team's inaugural year, but were hopeful that the team would have a decent showing.
--
By Week 12 however the writing was on the wall.  At 2-10-0, in the fans eyes the Maulers were a team consisting of Mike Rozier, and little else.
