INVADERS TRIVIA

--
Among the members of the Invaders staff in 1984 were former Raider Raymond Chester and former Rams head coach Ray Malavasi.
--
Malavasi would split from the USFL to join a group that had planned to launch another, competing spring league called the "International Football League."
--
The IFL held a press conference announcing its existence, then virtually faded into oblivion, taking Malavasi's reputation along with it.
--
Malavasi would never coach again, dying of a massive heart attack on December 15, 1987 at the age of 57.
