INVADERS TRIVIA

--
The birth of the Invaders can be traced back to May 14, 1981, when Tad Taube met with John Ralston about the possibility of placing a USFL franchise in the Bay Area.
--
On May 7, 1982, Jim Joseph and Tad Taube, then partners in the Invaders, tossed a coin to determine which of them would take control of the Los Angeles USFL franchise, which had been relinquished by Alex Spanos.  Joseph won the toss and moved on to L.A., but eventually would wind up in Phoenix with the Arizona Wranglers.
