With 13 touchdowns receiving in 1984, wide receiver Joey Walters set the Federals record for most points scored in a season, with 78.
Walters would also set the team marks for receptions in a single season (98) and yards gained receiving (1,410).
Despite his performance the Federals were worse in 1984 than they had been in 1983, winning only 3 of their 18 regular season games.
The ultimate ignominy of the 1984 Feds season came when they lost two games to the expansion Pittsburgh Maulers, who would go on to win only one other game.
