EXPRESS TRIVIA

For the 1983 USFL territorial draft, each team was entitled to "draft" up to 26 players from five pre-designated colleges.

Alan Harmon, the original co-owner of the Express and the team's first president, died on November 11, 1997.

Bill Daniels, Harmon's partner with the Express, died after a long illness on March 7, 2000.

Harmon and Daniels sold the Express after the 1983 season to J. William Oldenburg, whose nickname was "Mr. Dynamite."

Oldenburg ran into financial trouble during the course of the '84 season, relinquishing the franchise to the league after the season concluded.
