ARTICLE XII - REGULAR SEASON GAMES

12.1 Division of Game Receipts.
- The home club will retain sixty percent (60%) of.the gross receipts from each regular season game, and must pay to the visiting club forty percent (40%) of the gross receipts, determined after deduction of all federal, State and municipal taxes assessed on the sale of tickets, plus any other special charges approved on an individual club basis by the Commissioner, and a stadium rental allowance equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the gross receipts determined after deducting the taxes and other approved special charges.  The term "gross receipts", as used in this Section, means all receipts derived from the sale of tickets, including taxes and special charges but excluding ticket handling charges. Receipts of the home club from the sale of season tickets shall be included in gross receipts from each game equally in proportion to the number of regular season games scheduled by the club.  The members may adopt a different system for the division of gate receipts only upon the affirmative vote of three-fourths (3/4) of the member clubs of the League.

12.2 Method of Payment.
- Payment of the visiting club's share of gross receipts must be made by wiring to the account of the visiting club good and useful funds not later than the second business day next succeeding the day on which the game was played.  The Commissioner wall require an.accounting of any visiting club's share under this section upon the request and at the expense of the club making the request.

12.3 By-Law Provisions Relating to Game Conduct.
- All matters relating to the conduct of regular season games not specifically set forth in this Constitution will be in accordance with the applicable provisions of the By-Laws.

12.4 Determination of Gate Receipts - Championship Games.
- All revenues and receipts related to League play-off and post-season games must be deposited in the League Treasury.   From these proceeds, the League will pay all federal, state, and municipal taxes, stadium rental (determined by the Commissioner unless the rental is payable to a person not affiliated with a member) and all other expenses involved in the staging of these games, including authorized half-time entertainment, visiting team travel, and game official expenses.  The remaining balance of the game receipts shall be distributed in accordance with the formula fixed by the resolution most recently adopted at the last preceding Annual Meeting of the Members.

12.5 Spring Season.
- All League games must be played between February 15th and July 31st of each year.
